1. Something that I learned that was unexpected during my inquiry was there are so many ways that the government can see what we are doing. At first I thought it was only video surveillance in public places, and tracking cellphones, but I learned that the government can easily access all the information that is on your computer, and phone. They also use biometric surveillance to match our physical features and as well as our DNA.
2. One of the challenges that my partners and I faced during the inquiry process was deciding what information to use because thee were so many things we found regarding surveillance, especially the different types of surveillance the government uses.
3. If I were to do this presentation again, I would not use Prezi. This is because Prezi is a lot like a power point except that the lay out is different. My partners and I were originally thinking of making a video but we were hesitant because none of us knew how to make one or even knew of a website that could help us make a video. In the future, I would like to try some sort of video presentation because it is completely different form what I usually do and it will also help me learn something new, like learning how to make a video.
4.There are many connections I can make between the inquiry presentation and my life experiences. This is because I am constantly surrounded my technology. At school, everyone is under surveillance, when I am at home I use my phone and laptop which are items the government can hack into. The government can also see what I post online, so this project has made me more aware of the things I post.
5. I would like to learn more about how the government uses certain technologies for surveillance. For example, I want to know how they can hack into someone's phone or computer, and what kind of information do they need to know to hack something. Furthermore, I want to know how the government uses biometric surveillance, and how they store all the information about a person's fingerprint, and DNA.
