Revenge is never the answer to anything. It may solve your problems temporarily, but it will come back and haunt you in many ways. When someone gets revenge, they might feel like all their worries are taken away and they might feel a sense of relief, but later on they might look back at their decisions and regret what they did. This won't be good for their mental and physical health. They might start stressing about it and always be on edge, which could cause them to eat less and focus less on daily tasks. It could also have a negative affect on the people who are around them.
Is There Ever An Instance Where Revenge Can Be Justified, Or Is Forgiveness The Better Path?
There is never an instance where revenge can be justified. I personally think that by taking revenge on someone, you are stooping down to their level where you feel that violence is the way to solve your problems. It is better to forgive the person and move on with your life. It is a waste of time to take revenge when there are far better things you could be doing and achieving. Being the better person is the good thing to do. It could help you realize that you are a good person, which would make you over all feel better.
Is There A Difference Between "Avenging" and "Revenging"?
There is a slight difference between avenging and revenge. The act of both is the same as both require punishing the wrong. The difference is that avenging is more concerned with justice. When you avenge for someone you are seeking justice, but revenge is more about causing harm and making the person feel the same pain and suffering that they inflicted on you or others.
